Iron Maiden is my favorite band, i have listened for 14 years. They are an English heavy metal band, formed in 1975 by bassist Steve Harris. The song Flight of Icarus belong to album Piece of Mind released in 16 may of 1983, this song talk about the Greek legend of Icarus and Daedalus.
The song Flight of Icarus describe the obsession of the human for fly until the sun, but the wings of Icarus are burn for the heat.

When i was 14 years i remember to my father listened to radio Futuro, this radio is famous for transmit all information about the classic rock, and every day sound a one song of Iron Maiden.

I'm not a fan of heavy metal, but my respect to Iron Maiden, they have good songs.
